Dairy Development After phad project, 23 tribal farmers got irrigation facilities for three seasons. This activity became major change agent in the lives of target families. Under dairy development activity 4 of the beneficiaries from Digras & Yavatmal blocks were provided with milch cattle buffalos. All the buffaloes gave birth to the heifers & now the farmers are getting around 12 liters of milk each from these milch cattle. The beneficiary women use to sale 10 liters of milk daily at a district place Yavatmal located 15 km away from their own village. Cost Economy Total selling cost of Milk per day = 12 Litres x 37 Rs per liters = Rs.444 / day Total expenditure per litres = Rs. 20/- (20×12=240) Net Profit per Day = Rs. 204/- Yearly milk production (Days) = 210 Total Profit per year = Rs. 42840/-
